About the job

Translate documents, reports, and other materials from Chinese to English and vice versa.
Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, presentations, or virtual calls when required.
Proofread and edit translated content for clarity, grammar, and cultural appropriateness.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure message accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold translation quality standards.
Support localization efforts for marketing, product, and user research materials.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chinese, Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field.
Proven experience as a translator or interpreter (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Familiarity with technical, business, or research terminology is an added advantage.
Proficiency with translation tools or software is a plus.

Preferred:

Experience in a multinational or research-driven environment.
Ability to manage multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines.
