We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Truck Engine Specialist
Locations: Lagos and Shagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults in diesel truck engines using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Perform engine repairs, rebuilds, and complete overhauls on heavy-duty trucks.
Inspect engine components, including pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, cylinder heads, injectors, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance on truck engines according to maintenance schedules.
Replace or repair defective engine parts and components.
Diagnose and repair cooling, lubrication, fuel, intake, and exhaust system faults.
RequirementsSkills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
Expertise in engine overhaul and rebuilding.
Proficiency in using engine diagnostic software and scan tools.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Heavy-duty diesel engines (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania, Sinotruk, Howo, FAW).
Electronic Engine Control (ECM/ECU) diagnostics.
Fuel injection systems (Common Rail and Mechanical).
