Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:


Product Strategy and Vision – Craft a comprehensive product roadmap prioritizing key features and enhancements to increase customer value and generate significant business impact.
Product Development and Delivery – Manage end-to-end product deployment from ideation through requirements gathering, development, and product launch. Collaborate with UI/UX design teams to create intuitive and scalable mobile solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key functions (Marketing, Risk, Compliance, and Operations) to ensure the product meets operational and regulatory requirements.
Customer Experience and Engagement: Spearhead initiatives to boost usage, adoption, and retention of mobile banking products for retail and SME segments.
Regulatory and Security Compliance: Design and implement a framework to ensure digital mobile banking products adhere to regulatory (NDPR, AML/KYC) requirements and incorporate contemporary security features.
Team Leadership: Lead agile product development of mobile banking products, focusing on timely delivery and high-quality solutions. Provide leadership to junior product managers and cross-functional teams for overall product excellence.


Qualifications and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of Product management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the Fintech industry.
Familiarity with mobile app development technologies, Cloud-based architectures, API frameworks, and Agile development.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian Banking sector, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
