Job Summary
A reputable healthcare facility is looking for an X-Ray Technician who will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray examinations, ensuring the production of high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while maintaining patient safety, radiation protection standards, and proper equipment care.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform X-ray examinations as requested by authorized medical personnel.
Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to ensure their comfort and cooperation.
Operate X-ray equipment safely and produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection prevention and control procedures.
Ensure proper identification of patients before examinations.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or an appropriate recognized qualification and relevant experience.
Valid registration and current practicing license with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable.
Previous experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging facility.
Knowledge of radiation protection, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging procedures.
Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
