Job Title: Account Assistant
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Prepare and post invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
Assist in reconciling customer accounts and identifying outstanding balances.
Monitor daily collections from sales representatives and ensure proper documentation.
Verify sales invoices, payment records, and supporting documents before posting.
Assist with bank reconciliation and monitoring of company bank transactions.
Maintain proper records of expenses, petty cash, and other financial transactions.
Assist in tracking customer debts, payments, and outstanding balances.
Reconcile sales records with cash, bank transfers, and other payment methods.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
Support the Accountant during month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with stock and sales reconciliations where required.
Follow up on discrepancies in sales, payments, invoices, and customer accounts.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Provide necessary financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
Perform other accounting duties assigned by the Accountant or Management.
RequirementsCandidates should possess an OND in relevant discipline.
