About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Officer to support the financial operations of our warehouse and distribution business.
The ideal candidate should have practical accounting experience, strong numerical skills and an understanding of financial transactions within a warehouse or distribution environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and maintain accurate daily financial transactions.
Track sales, expenses, payments and receipts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile cash, bank and transaction records.
Prepare invoices, receipts and payment documentation.
Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to reconcile stock-related transactions.
Support payroll and other finance-related activities.
Identify and report financial discrepancies.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
RequirementsOND, HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a warehouse, logistics or distribution company.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with accounting or inventory management software is an advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must be trustworthy and able to handle financial information with confidentiality.
SalaryN80,000 - N100,000 per month.
