Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting to support financial reporting, accounting advisory, and client engagements.
The role will involve technical review, client management, engagement delivery, and team supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and review financial statements and reporting deliverables in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical accounting and financial reporting advisory support to clients.
Manage assigned client engagements, timelines, deliverables, and documentation.
Review reconciliations, working papers, and financial reporting schedules for accuracy and quality.
Support statutory reporting, external audits, and regulatory engagements.
Identify reporting, control, and process improvement opportunities for clients.
Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, proposals, and other business development activities.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent professional qualification.
6–8 years' experience in financial reporting, audit, accounting advisory, or financial consulting.
Strong knowledge of *IFRS and financial statement preparation*.
Experience managing client engagements and supervising teams.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting/accounting systems.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver within tight deadlines.
