Location: Abuja (FCT) Job Summary

A Finance (or Financial) Accountant ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of an organization’s financial information. They support statutory reporting, internal decision‑making, and long‑term financial planning.

Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and statutory accounts. Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to assess financial health and identify trends. Manage budgets and forecasting, including variance analysis and financial projections. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries. Maintain accurate financial records, including reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset management. Track KPIs such as profit margins, growth rates, and inventory turnover. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Knowledge of regulatory compliance. Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting software. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholder.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications is an added advantage. Experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance processes as well as experience in an audit firm with 5 years working experience.
