Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
To evaluate internal controls, assess risk management processes and ensure financial and operational compliance
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute and report on comprehensive internal audit assignments across departments
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems
Review financial records, ledgers, transactions and operational procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, or financial risks and formulate practical recommendations for management
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective action plans
Prepare clear, objective, and timely internal audit reports for executive management and the Board
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
Any other duties that may be assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Education; Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc/HND) in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or other related fields
Professional Certification: Must be a Chartered Accountant
Post – Qualification Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant post –qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant, with a strong background in internal auditing
Added Advantages: Possession of MBA or MSC in related field
Competencies & Skills:Strong Knowledge of Internal audit standards, risk-based auditing, and financial reporting
High level of integrity, professional ethics and independence
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report – writing skills
Proficiency in training software, Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools
