We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Lead to oversee financial operations and support strategic financial decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, controls, compliance, cash-flow management, and providing financial insights to support business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the company’s financial operations and accounting functions. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and cash-flow projections. Provide accurate and timely financial information to management to support strategic decision-making. Monitor revenue, expenditure, cash flow, profitability, and overall financial performance. Ensure effective financial controls and compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as required. Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. Develop and improve financial policies, processes, and internal controls. Provide commercial and financial analysis to support investment and infrastructure projects. Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring high standards of performance and accountability.


Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is highly desirable. 7+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or a related role. Proven experience in a leadership or senior finance position. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash-flow management, and financial controls. Excellent analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and applicable regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting/ERP software and Microsoft Excel. Experience in investment, infrastructure, construction, real estate, financial services, or related sectors will be an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.


Salary

N700,000 – N1,000,000 Net Monthly, depending on experience. Application Closing Date
