We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our FMCG business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting transactions, supporting financial reporting, monitoring receivables and payables, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial policies and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced FMCG, retail, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions and accounting records. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, ledgers, and other financial accounts. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Monitor customer accounts, outstanding invoices, collections, and supplier payments. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Monitor sales revenue, expenses, inventory-related transactions, and operating costs. Reconcile inventory records with accounting records and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and maintain accurate financial schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure timely remittance and documentation of applicable taxes and statutory obligations. Identify financial discrepancies, errors, and control weaknesses and recommend correctiactions. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within FMCG, retail, distribution, manufacturing, or a similar environment. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN is an advantage. Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
