Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Description
Our Client seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the company's financial control environment and provide strong financial leadership across its growing operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee payment approvals, financial controls and cash flow.
Track construction/project spend, budgets, BOQ variances and cost-to-complete.
Lead monthly and year-end financial close and management reporting.
Ensure tax and statutory compliance.
Oversee receivables, project profitability and financial planning.
Build and lead the Finance team within the existing six-role structure.
RequirementsMinimum of 6 years' finance experience, with at least 2years in a Controller, Finance Manager or equivalent role.
ICAN or ACCA qualified.
Experience in real estate, construction or project-based accounting.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory compliance.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar accounting software.
Lagos-based and willing to work on-site and visit projects regularly.
