Job Overview
They are seeking to employ an experienced and commercially driven professional to join its leadership team as Head of Business Development.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth and business expansion.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets and strategic partnerships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors and business partners.
Lead business acquisition, client engagement and relationship management initiatives.
Develop and manage a high-performing business development team.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth within the financial services sector.
Work closely with senior management to develop and implement commercial strategies.
Track business development performance and deliver measurable results.
Key Requirements
Relevant Bachelor's degree. A professional qualification or postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
Prior professional experience in a bank, fintech, investment banking, merchant banking, asset management, or related financial services organisation.
Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, strategic partnerships and revenue generation.
Strong understanding of the financial services industry and its commercial landscape.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective growth strategies.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management abilities.
