Job Overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to lead its operations function and support the organisation’s continued growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the organisation’s day-to-day operational activities.
Develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies and controls.
Drive process improvement, operational efficiency and service excellence.
Establish and monitor operational procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Identify operational risks and work with relevant teams to implement appropriate controls.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
Lead, develop and manage cross-functional teams.
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Work closely with senior management to align operations with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Ensure effective coordination between departments and timely delivery of business objectives.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field with a minimum of 10 years experience. Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
Prior experience working in a bank or financial services company.
Proven experience in operations management within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of process improvement, operational controls, compliance and risk management.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing operational strategies.
Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving effective service delivery.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
SalaryN1,000,000 monthly (negotiable).
