Job Title: IRATA Rope Access Welding Technician
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
Responsible for carrying out welding activities in difficult-to-access areas using approved rope access techniques.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding and repair activities at height.
Carry out welding in accordance with approved procedures.
Work safely using rope access systems.
Inspect work area and welding equipment before work.
Follow approved WPS, safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
Maintain good housekeeping and report unsafe conditions.
RequirementsIRATA Level 2 or Level 3 certification, depending on position.
ASME Section IX qualified.
Proven welding experience, preferably in oil & gas or industrial environments.
Ability to work at height and in difficult-access locations.
Relevant welding/safety certifications.
