 Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ogere-Remo, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join Ninestars Agricultural Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of our real estate and construction projects, from land development to leasing and building works. You will ensure that our projects are completed within budget, meet quality standards, and deliver value for the company and our clients.


Key Responsibilities

Cost Planning & Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets for real estate and construction projects. Tendering & Procurement: Manage tender documents, evaluate bids, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to get the best value. Contract Management: Administer contracts, prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts. Cost Control: Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and report on budget variances to Management. Site Measurement & Valuation: Carry out site measurements, assess work done, and certify payments to contractors. Land & Lease Costing: Work with the real estate team to cost land acquisition, development, and leasing projects with local communities. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, BOQs, and prepare regular cost reports for Management. Compliance: Ensure all cost and contract practices comply with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in real estate, construction, or property development. Education: B.Sc / HND in Quantity Surveying. Professional certification with NIQS or RICS is an added advantage Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software such as CostX, WinQS, or Bluebeam. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract law, and costing in the Nigerian context. Other Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good negotiation skills, and ability to work with site teams and community stakeholders.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary: N200,000 – N400,000 / month depending on experience and capability. Opportunity to work on real estate and agricultural development projects. Professional growth in a growing company.
