Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk & Fraud Officer to join its growing team in Lagos. We are looking for a professional who can identify emerging fraud risks, investigate suspicious activities, and strengthen controls across betting, payments, customer accounts, and transactions.

Monitor customer accounts, transactions, and betting activities for suspicious patterns. Investigate fraud, multi-accounting, bonus abuse, collusion, payment fraud, and other irregular activities. Conduct KYC/AML checks and escalate high-risk cases. Identify emerging fraud trends and recommend appropriate controls. Prepare risk and fraud reports for management. Work closely with Compliance, Payments, Customer Service, Trading, and Operations teams. Support the development and improvement of fraud prevention procedures.

2–5+ years’ experience in Risk, Fraud, AML, Compliance, Payments, Banking, Fintech, or Betting/Gaming. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of transaction monitoring and fraud detection. Excellent attention to detail and sound judgement. •Ability to analyse customer behaviour and transactional data. Experience in the betting/gaming industry is a strong advantage.
