Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Class Mathematics Teacher to join its academic team.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, capable of delivering engaging Mathematics lessons, and able to prepare senior-class students for academic and external examinations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance.
Identify students' learning needs and provide appropriate support.
Maintain proper records of students' attendance, performance, and assessments.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Encourage critical thinking and practical application of mathematical concepts.
Collaborate with other teachers and school management to improve students' academic outcomes.
Participate in school meetings, trainings, and extracurricular activities.
Perform other teaching-related duties as assigned by the school management.
Candidate Requirements
Posses an HND or B.Sc in Mathematics, Education, or a related field with 2 – 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably teaching senior classes.
Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to prepare students effectively for examinations.
Professional, responsible, patient, and well-organized.
Passion for teaching and student development.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
SalaryN80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
