Senior HR Consultant, Performance Management – Lagos

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior HR Performance Management Consultant

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and refine performance management frameworks, including performance appraisal systems, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms.
• Track employee performance using relevant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and produce reports to inform decision-making.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance-related matters, identify development needs, and support the creation of training plans.
• Manage processes for identifying underperforming employees and implementing plans to improve their performance.
• Ensure a culture of continuous, constructive, and timely feedback between employees and managers, facilitating open communication channels.
• Help establish and manage recognition and reward programs to motivate and acknowledge high performance.
• Ensure all performance management activities comply with employment regulations and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualities

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly explain performance processes and provide constructive feedback.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport, influence others, and resolve conflicts fairly.
• Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of the performance management process.
• Empathy & Coaching: Ability to provide supportive coaching and guidance, especially for performance improvement.
• Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of performance-related information.

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
