Summary
We are a reputable and fast-growing real estate and construction company seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and result-oriented Site Engineer to join our team.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all construction activities on site to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Monitor contractors, subcontractors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
Liaise with project managers, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders.
Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
Ensure all construction works comply with relevant building codes and company standards.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years' proven experience as a Site Engineer in a real estate and construction company.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, and project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant engineering software.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
