Job Title: Accountant Recruitment& Staffing
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Core Responsibilities
Property & Lease Accounting: Track rent rolls, and ensure accurate billing and collections from tenants.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) for senior management and property owners.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing operating and capital expenditure budgets, monitoring ongoing financial performance against set targets.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor payments (utilities, contractors, taxes) and ensure tenant receivables are properly recorded.
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and trust accounts to ensure accuracy in cash inflows and outflows.
Tax Compliance & Audits: Prepare documentation for year-end tax returns and assist internal or external auditors during financial reviews.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Certifications: Professional designations like ICAN, ANAN (in Nigeria), ACCA, CPA, or a Certified Property Accountant (CPA) credential are highly valued.
Software Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are essential.
SalaryN120,000 - N200,000 monthly.
