Job Description
Neo Homes Limited is seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced Chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, excellent food preparation skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
Plan menus and recommend new dishes where necessary.
Ensure all meals are prepared and presented to high standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety standards.
Monitor kitchen inventory, manage ingredients, and minimise food wastage.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients.
Manage kitchen equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
Prepare meals within scheduled timeframes.
Comply with all company policies and food safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Relevant culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene.
Ability to prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
