Job Overview:
The Treasury Coverage Member is tasked with generating revenue and strengthening client relationships by offering tailored treasury solutions. This role involves advising clients on various financial products, including Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Derivatives, and Investment Solutions, based on a thorough understanding of their business models and financial objectives. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams such as ALM, Trading, Structuring, and Research to deliver market insights, enhance client strategies, and ensure flawless execution. Success in this role demands strong client focus, business acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of financial markets.
Primary Duties
Oversee a portfolio of corporate, institutional, and public sector clients, focusing on increasing wallet share through customized treasury solutions.
Initiate and execute transactions across various financial products, including FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Liquidity Management.
Offer strategic market insights and hedging solutions to address clients' risk management and investment requirements.
Work in tandem with Relationship Managers, Trading, Structuring, and Research teams to provide comprehensive treasury services.
Maintain consistent communication with clients through market updates, idea presentations, and transaction reviews.
Ensure precise documentation and execution of transactions in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the delivery of treasury mandates across the Bank's African subsidiaries and key regional markets.
Foster a robust risk and compliance culture, ensuring transactions align with internal policies and market regulations.

Comprehensive knowledge of treasury markets, financial instruments, and client advisory processes.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. A postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACI, ACT) would be advantageous.
Professional Background
At least 5 years of experience in treasury sales, financial markets, corporate banking, or investment advisory.
Prior exposure to FX, interest rate products, or liquidity solutions is crucial.
Experience in client coverage or product delivery within African markets is highly desirable.
Candidates with backgrounds in investment banking, corporate treasury, or structuring are also encouraged to apply.
