Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and capable Head Teacher to provide academic, administrative and operational leadership within the school.
The successful candidate will oversee teaching standards, pupil welfare, staff performance and the effective implementation of school policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to teaching and non-teaching staff.
Oversee curriculum implementation and academic standards.
Monitor lesson delivery, teaching quality and pupil performance.
Supervise and support teachers through regular feedback and guidance.
Coordinate staff meetings, academic activities and school programmes.
Monitor pupil discipline, welfare and safeguarding.
Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
Support staff recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
Prepare and review academic and operational reports.
Ensure school policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Work with management to identify areas for school improvement.
Promote a positive, professional and collaborative school culture.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant teaching experience, with leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of school administration and curriculum implementation.
Demonstrable classroom teaching experience.
Strong leadership, communication and decision-making abilities.
Good understanding of child safeguarding and school operations.
Ability to use basic digital tools for reporting and administration.
