Job Title: Heavy Earth Moving Machines (HEMM) Engineer
Locations: Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Imo and Rivers
Job Summary
The HEMM Engineers oversee the performance, maintenance, and repair of heavy earth-moving equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency, safety compliance, and minimum downtime.
The role involves diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults while coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy earth-moving equipment. E.g Excavator, Dozers, Cranes, Cartapillers, Pay Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Swamp Buggie etc.
Experience in construction, mining, or the oil & gas industry is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in field environments.
Team leadership and supervision abilities.
