Job Summary
AgriNova Limited is seeking an experienced Managing Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization.
The MD will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the company's agricultural/agribusiness objectives are met efficiently, profitably, and sustainably.
This is a senior executive position reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the company's strategic direction in line with Board-approved objectives and growth targets
Provide overall leadership across operations, production/supply chain, sales, finance, and HR functions
Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and P&L accountability for the organization
Build and lead a high-performing management team; set KPIs and hold department heads accountable
Represent the company to investors, regulators, partners, and other key external stakeholders
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive revenue growth
Ensure regulatory compliance and sound risk management across all business units
Report regularly to the Board on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification strongly preferred
8–10 years of progressive leadership experience, ideally within agribusiness, FMCG, or related sectors
Proven track record of P&L ownership and driving business growth at a senior executive level
Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and operational management capability
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
High integrity and sound judgment in decision-making.
SalaryN800,000 - N1,500,000 per month.
