Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Music Teacher to introduce students to music theory, practical music skills and performance.
The successful candidate should be able to make music lessons engaging and encourage students to develop their musical abilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging music lessons for students.
Teach basic music theory, notation, rhythm and practical skills.
Train students in singing and/or musical instruments within areas of competence.
Prepare students for school performances and musical events.
Organise rehearsals and support school cultural activities.
Assess students' musical development and provide feedback.
Maintain appropriate learning materials and musical resources.
Encourage students to develop confidence and creativity through music.
Collaborate with other teachers on school performances and activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree, NCE, diploma or relevant professional training in Music or a related discipline.
Demonstrable knowledge and practical ability in music.
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Ability to teach music theory and practical skills.
Ability to work effectively with children and young people.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
