This is an opportunity to join a modern, multidisciplinary clinical environment committed to safe, effective and patient-centred care. Practitioner pharmacist delivering dispensing and clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, effective and lawful use of medicines.

Dispense medicines accurately and provide clinical pharmacy input to patient care. Support procurement, storage, stock control and distribution of medicines. Handle and document controlled medicines in line with PCN and national requirements. Contribute to formulary management, medicines information and pharmacovigilance. Participate in quality assurance, audit and continuing professional development.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognised institution; completion of the required national internship/pre-registration training and NYSC, or a valid exemption where applicable.

Minimum of 1 year of post-registration/post-internship experience in the relevant profession; newly registered practitioners may be considered; post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy practice; clinical/technical competence appropriate to the role, exercised with appropriate supervision.

Knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice appropriate to the role Competence in dispensing, stock control and controlled-medicines handling Understanding of medicines safety and pharmacovigilanceAccurate record-keeping Competent use of pharmacy systems Effective communication with clinical colleagues radiation safety, quality improvement or service improvement in imaging.

Membership of a recognised pharmacy professional body Certification relevant to hospital or clinical pharmacy.
