We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to provide strategic leadership and overall management of the school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving academic excellence, operational efficiency, staff development, student success, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, a proven track record of school improvement, and extensive experience managing a high-performing educational institution.
Develop and implement the school's vision, strategic objectives, and improvement plans. Provide overall leadership for academic, administrative, and operational functions. Ensure the school achieves high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes. Lead school-wide initiatives that support growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee curriculum implementation and academic performance across all levels. Monitor student achievement and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes. Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulatory requirements. Support curriculum review, assessment practices, and quality assurance activities.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate Vice Principals, Head Teachers, and other senior staff. Promote staff development through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning initiatives. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, regulatory bodies, and external partners. Represent the school at educational and community engagements. Address parent concerns and ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and school policies. Promote safeguarding, student welfare, and a safe learning environment. Prepare reports and presentations for management and governing bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field. Master’s degree in education, Educational Leadership, or related discipline preferred. TRCN registration and relevant professional memberships are an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years teaching experience. At least 7 years in a senior leadership position within a reputable school. Proven experience leading school improvement and academic excellence initiatives.
Strategic leadership and decision-making skills. Strong academic and operational management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong people management and team development abilities. Financial and resource management skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
