Sales Deposit Manager

Key Duties


Formulate and implement strategic plans to meet and surpass savings deposit growth targets.
Undertake market research and competitor analysis to identify potential new savings products and service enhancements.
Lead and mentor a team of savings deposit officers, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Design and oversee effective sales and marketing campaigns to attract new savings customers.
Guarantee compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies related to deposit mobilization.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, proactively addressing their needs and concerns.
Develop and execute customer retention strategies to minimize attrition.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to savings deposits and provide regular reports to senior management.
Work in conjunction with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in retail banking, with a focus on deposit mobilization and management.
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding savings deposit growth targets.
In-depth understanding of the Nigerian financial market, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment.
Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in relevant banking software such as bankone and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong customer service orientation.
