Job Title: Solynta Academy Teacher / Centre Manager

About the Role
The Solynta Academy Teacher / Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Solynta Academy centre, ensuring that students have a safe, organised and positive learning environment.
The Centre Manager will oversee staff, students, facilities and parent communication, while ensuring that the Academy’s daily programme runs smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesCentre Operations:Manage the day-to-day running of the centre.
Ensure classes, breaks and after-school activities run according to schedule.
Ensure the centre is clean, organised and ready for learning each day.
Monitor power, internet, computers and other equipment.
Student Management:Ensure students are safe, well supervised and properly supported.
Maintain a calm, respectful and disciplined learning environment.
Monitor student attendance, behaviour and general wellbeing.
Ensure students are actively participating in their learning.
Parent Communication:Serve as the main point of contact for parents at the centre.
Respond to parent questions and concerns promptly.
Provide regular updates on student progress and centre activities.
Build positive relationships with parents and families.
Student Progress:Work with teachers to monitor student progress.
Identify students who may need additional support.
Ensure students are progressing appropriately through their learning.
Support the successful delivery of academic and technology projects.
Enrolment & Centre Growth:Welcome prospective parents and students to the centre.
Conduct centre tours and explain the Solynta Academy experience.
Support student onboarding and enrolment.
Represent Solynta Academy positively within the local community.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Management or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in school administration, teaching, learning centre management or operations.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using computers, digital learning platforms and AI tools.
Ability to solve problems quickly and take initiative.
Experience managing teachers or a team is an advantage.
Applicant must reside on Lagos Island
SalaryN160,000 / Month.
