Job Title: Upper Primary Teacher

Description
We are looking for an experienced and capable Upper Primary Teacher who can effectively prepare pupils for the transition to secondary education through strong academic instruction, classroom management and continuous assessment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver structured and engaging lessons.
Teach assigned subjects in line with the school's curriculum.
Develop lesson plans, assignments, tests and learning resources.
Monitor pupils' academic performance and provide appropriate support.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, attendance and pupil progress.
Prepare pupils for examinations and other academic assessments.
Encourage critical thinking, independent learning and good study habits.
Maintain effective classroom discipline.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding pupils' academic and behavioural development.
Participate in school activities, meetings and extracurricular programmes.
Requirements & Qualifications
NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with relevant education qualification or equivalent.
Relevant teaching experience at the upper primary level.
Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methods.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use basic digital tools for lesson preparation and record keeping is an advantage.
