Job Title: Welder

Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment using welding techniques.
Ensure the structural integrity and precision of all welding tasks.
Maintain safety and quality standards during welding operations to support organizational efficiency and compliance.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Perform welding operations using tools such as arc welders, MIG/TIG welders, and gas torches.
Inspect and assess materials, ensuring they meet specifications before welding.
Set up and operate welding machines, adjusting settings as necessary for precision.
Perform repairs and maintenance of metal structures and equipment.
Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards through inspections and testing.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company and industry safety regulations.
Monitor and report on the condition of welding tools and machinery.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Document completed work and submit reports to supervisors.
General Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical or vocational welding program is preferred.
Certification in welding (e.g., AWS or equivalent) is highly desirable.
2-4 years of welding experience in construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
