We are looking to employ an accountant to bolster its business operations. The accountant will work in thefinance department and be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company and statutory financial regulations. The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of accounting procedures and hospitality industry business operations.


Key Responsibilities

Sales confirmation, sales summary, financial analysis, pos end of day report Record, verify, and reconcile all financial transactions accurately. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and expense reports. Reconcile bank statements and maintain up-to-date ledgers. Process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and petty cash. Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, Ogun State Tax, Pension etc.). Ensure compliance with internal control policies and audit requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records. Support the Accountant in financial analysis and reporting to management. Participate in end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Valino, Moniebook, Sage). Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial reporting standards. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information.
