Job Title: Accountant
Location: Oniru, Lagos
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience to manage our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making through accurate reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage statutory audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings (FIRS, LIRS, PENCOM, NSITF, etc.)
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
Monitor tax compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE) and ensure timely remittances
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls
Assist management with financial insights for decision-making
RequirementsB.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) certification required
Minimum of 5 years' relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of statutory audits, filings, and reconciliations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, or similar) and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements
Good communication and organizational skills.
