Position Summary

As the Assistant Director of Human Resources, you'll collaborate with the HR Director to craft and execute personnel strategies that align with organizational objectives. This role encompasses leading crucial HR initiatives, supervising daily HR functions, and ensuring adherence to employment regulations and industry standards. You'll also play a vital part in cultivating talent, fostering employee engagement, and driving organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Guidance:
- Collaborate on HR strategy development to support company goals
- Contribute ideas for HR policies and programs to boost productivity and workplace culture
- Serve as a trusted HR consultant to upper management


2. HR Operations Oversight:
- Supervise core HR functions including hiring, staff relations, performance evaluations, and benefits administration
- Streamline HR processes for efficiency and goal alignment
- Oversee HR analytics and reporting, providing data-driven insights


3. Talent Development:
- Spearhead recruitment efforts to secure and retain top performers
- Manage employee growth initiatives, including training and succession planning
- Oversee fair and transparent performance assessment processes


4. Culture and Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment aligned with company values
- Design and implement strategies to enhance job satisfaction and retention
- Address employee issues promptly to maintain a supportive workplace


5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Mitigate HR-related risks and handle confidential matters professionally
- Supervise health, safety, and wellness program implementation


6. Organizational Development:
- Assist in leading change management initiatives and workforce planning


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPM) preferred
- 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with 3-5 years in leadership roles
- Industry-specific experience is beneficial


Required Competencies:


- Comprehensive understanding of HR principles and employment law

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal talents
