Chemistry Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and interactive Chemistry lessons.
Prepare students for WAEC/NECO/IGCSE and other relevant examinations.
Design lesson notes, teaching aids, and practical experiments.
Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
Teaching qualification (TRCN certification preferred) but if not available, no problem
Proven experience teaching Chemistry at secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of Chemistry curriculum and laboratory practices.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about education and student success.
