Role Summary
The Accountant will oversee all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, inventory accountability, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient financial management within an import/export trading environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation (very critical for trading operations)
Oversee import/export financial documentation and cost tracking
Handle tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Company Income Tax, etc.)
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Implement and monitor internal financial controls
Provide financial insights to management for business decisions
Ensure strict confidentiality of company financial information
Candidate Criteria
Ready to grow long-term with the company

Requirements:B.Sc or HND in Accounting
Must be an experienced Accountant (ICAN/ACCA certified)
2–3 years post-qualification experience
Strong accounting background in a trading company preferred
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
Strong inventory management experience
Computer literate and tech-savvy
Detail-oriented with high accuracy level
Calm, proactive, and able to work under pressure
High integrity and confidentiality.
SalaryN200,000 monthly.
