Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operational readiness of all Little Afrika apartments. Ensure every apartment is clean, functional, safe, well-maintained, and guest-ready. Conduct regular inspections and identify maintenance issues before they affect guests. Respond swiftly to facility emergencies and operational issues. Coordinate electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, carpenters, locksmiths, appliance technicians, internet providers, and other service providers. Follow up on all repairs and ensure issues are completely resolved. Coordinate with housekeeping teams and monitor property presentation and cleanliness standards. Monitor furniture, appliances, equipment, utilities, smart locks, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and other facility assets. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inventory, assets, and facility incidents. Monitor facility inventory and report shortages, damages, or replacement needs. Provide timely operational and maintenance reports to management. Identify recurring problems and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements & Experience

Relevant OND, HND, Bachelor’s degree, or professional qualification is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in facility management, property management, hospitality, hotel operations, estate management, or a related field. Experience in short-let apartments, serviced apartments, hotels, or hospitality operations is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, appliance, and general property maintenance. Ability to manage multiple properties, tasks, and service providers. Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Must be highly tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones, computers, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and digital reporting tools. Ability to work with smart locks, smart TVs, Wi-Fi systems, and other technology-enabled property equipment. Experience with property-management systems, booking platforms, or smart-home systems is an added advantage. Must be able to learn and adapt to new technology quickly.
