Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee program and help shape the customer experience from day one.
Your Role
As Head Barista, you'll oversee our daily coffee operations, maintain exceptional quality standards and lead our barista team. You'll play a key role in developing our beverage menu, training staff and ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare exceptional espresso-based drinks, matcha and specialty beverages.
Dial in espresso and maintain coffee quality throughout the day.
Train, mentor and supervise junior baristas.
Develop signature drinks and seasonal specials.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar.
Manage inventory and communicate stock requirements.
Ensure coffee equipment is maintained and operating correctly.
Deliver warm, genuine customer service.
Help create a welcoming and inspiring café atmosphere.
RequirementsMinimum 3 years of barista experience (specialty coffee preferred).
Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming and workflow.
Leadership or team training experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
High attention to detail.
Passion for coffee and hospitality.
