The idea to create Westcare Hospital group was conceived in 1997. This idea was brought to fruition in May 1998 when the first hospital was founded and named Ilogbo central Hospital. The hospital was named after Ilogbo town near Ajangbadi, Ojo LGA of Lagos in which the hospital was situated.

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently.
Collect, process, and examine patient specimens.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with approved standards.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of laboratory results.
Maintain strict quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and laboratory protocols.
Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
RequirementsBMLS or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Science.
Must be registered and licensed to practice in Nigeria.
Relevant experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
