We are seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to lead pastry, bread, dessert, and confectionery production for the hotel.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the hotel's pastry and dessert programme.
Develop and produce cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, and confectionery.
Create attractive and innovative dessert offerings.
Maintain consistent recipes, portion sizes, taste, and presentation.
Manage pastry production schedules.
Supervise and train Pastry Commis staff.
Monitor pastry ingredients and control wastage.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and sanitation standards.
Support restaurant, banquet, events, and in-suite dining requirements.
RequirementsMinimum 4–5 years' experience in pastry production.
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or senior pastry professional.
Strong knowledge of baking, pastry, desserts, breads, and confectionery.
Creativity and excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Culinary/pastry certification is an advantage.
