Location: Ibadan, Oyo Role Overview

We are recruiting for the Production leadership development role at FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company in Nigeria. Interested applicants must be passionate about food production, have strong food safety and quality skills, attention to detail, and possess excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Learning all aspects of food production including cooking, pastry, bakery, and related processes. Understanding and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality output. Learning how to manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products. Understudying supervisors and managers in the production team to acquire both technical and soft skills. Assisting in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards across all production processes. Learning how to monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies for smooth production. Supporting the development and improvement of recipes and production techniques. Assisting in documenting production processes, quality checks, and outputs. Learning to use production and inventory management software for record-keeping and reporting. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.

A Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field. 0–2 years post NYSC experience. Age limit: 27 years. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet production deadlines. Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic production environment while handling multiple tasks. Strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a positive attitude. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality standards. Critical-thinking skills and ability to solve operational problems efficiently. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, production techniques, and hygiene practices. Experience with inventory and production software is an added advantage.
