About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Executive with experience in the sales of automotive oils, lubricants, and related products to drive sales growth, develop customer relationships, and expand the company’s market presence across the Port Harcourt–Calabar territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sales of automotive oils, lubricants, and related products to customers, dealers, workshops, distributors, and corporate clients.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
Conduct regular market visits to identify new customers and monitor competitor activities and pricing.
Generate leads, follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations, and close sales.
Provide customers with appropriate product information and recommendations based on their needs.
Maintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat business and improve customer retention.
Monitor customer orders, payments, and deliveries to ensure smooth transactions.
Prepare accurate sales reports and provide regular updates on territory performance.
Represent the company professionally during customer visits, trade activities, and market engagements.
Requirements1 - 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the oil, lubricants, automotive, industrial products, or related sector.
Experience selling engine oils, lubricants, greases, hydraulic fluids, transmission fluids, or related automotive products is highly desirable.
HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline is an advantage.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware.
Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Port Harcourt–Calabar territory.
Good knowledge of the oil/lubricant market and customer network within the territory is an added advantage.
