Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial, Energy & Digital Advisory

Job Summary
Provide strategic legal and compliance support across the Group.
Advise on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, energy-sector matters, and digital technology initiatives to protect enterprise value and enable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Corporate Transactions: Lead negotiation and execution of complex agreements including M&A, JV, project finance, divestments, and shareholder matters
Energy & Infrastructure Advisory: Provide legal support on oil & gas, power, mining and infrastructure projects. Draft and negotiate agreements such as Hydrocarbon Sale, EPC, Technical Service, and Supply Agreements.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Monitor laws and regulations, ensure 100% compliance, and support governance frameworks and internal controls.
Digital & IP Advisory: Advise on technology transactions, software licensing, data protection, AI, cybersecurity and IP protection.
Dispute Resolution: Manage litigation, arbitration and coordinate external counsel
Stakeholder Management: Represent Legal & Compliance in regulatory engagements and build relationships with government bodies, external counsel and vendors.

RequirementsQualifications & Experience:LL.B Degree. Master’s or PGD is an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years post-call experience.
Extensive experience in Energy Law: Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, and Digital Technology.
Strong knowledge of corporate transactions, M&A, JV, regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Key Skills & Competencies:Strategic legal advisory and commercial focus.
