We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images to support accurate clinical assessment and patient care.

Perform ultrasound examinations as requested by clinicians, following approved protocols and safety procedures. Obtain and optimise diagnostic images, ensuring examinations are complete and of high quality. Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and help them feel comfortable throughout the examination. Review images for technical quality and completeness, and document examination details accurately. Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and examination rooms, reporting faults or maintenance needs promptly. Follow infection prevention, patient confidentiality, and professional practice standards. Work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to quality assurance activities.

Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Medical Ultrasound. Current professional registration or licence, where required. Practical experience performing ultrasound examinations. Sound knowledge of ultrasound techniques, anatomy, and patient-care principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
