Stock Controller - Ilorin

Position Description


Accountable for creating purchase orders, receiving, storing, and distributing goods, managing inventory levels, and dispensing supplies from stock.
Involved in preparing inventories, maintaining stock records, utilizing computerized systems for data entry, and responsible for verifying supply invoices against purchase orders.
To ensure that goods are arranged in an orderly manner within the stock location system for easy storage and retrieval when needed. Similarly, he/she ensures that stocks remain physically protected in the warehouse
To undertake stock-taking activities and confirm periodic inventory on a regular basis by collaborating closely with designated staff members
Daily physical inventory count and reporting
Verify that all items received from suppliers match the specifications in the local purchase order, are in the correct quantities, and are in good condition.
Promptly update stock activities on Odoo (receiving or return).
Compiles reports on adjustments made to inventories that may be damaged, spoiled, etc., and coordinates the purchasing, inventory, and warehousing functions.
Implement practical stock monitoring measures to prevent overstocking, aged stock, and stock-outs.
Identify third-party alternatives in the site's locality in case of supply failures (especially for essential items like bread buns, NBC products, etc.
Responsible for stock issuance at the site
Perform daily stock record keeping. Effectively and systematically deploy stock cards.
Responsible for stock document management and communication to the Support Office Team (upload on One-drive).
Daily update of inventory worksheets, weekly and monthly report compilation
Daily review of Audit by User report to determine user activities and monitor transaction delete frequency and investigate.


Qualifications


Minimum of HND/B.Sc. with at least 2 years' experience.
Understanding of accounting theories, principles, methods, practices, and terminology in a multidisciplinary and multi-functional environment.
