Stock Controller - Ilorin

Position Overview


The role involves managing purchase orders, inventory reception, storage, and distribution. Key responsibilities include stock level management and supply allocation from inventory.
Tasks encompass inventory preparation, record maintenance using computerized systems, and reconciliation of supply invoices with purchase orders.
Ensure efficient organization of goods within the stock location system for easy storage and retrieval. Additionally, oversee the physical security of warehouse inventory.
Conduct regular stock-taking activities in collaboration with designated team members to verify periodic inventory levels.
Perform daily physical inventory counts and generate reports.
Verify that all items received from suppliers match the specifications, quantities, and quality outlined in the local purchase order.
Ensure timely updates of stock activities (receiving or returns) in the Odoo system.
Generate reports on inventory adjustments due to damage or spoilage, and coordinate purchasing, inventory, and warehousing functions.
Implement effective stock monitoring measures to prevent overstocking, aging inventory, and stock-outs.
Identify local third-party alternatives in case of supply failures, particularly for essential items such as bread buns and NBC products.
Oversee stock issuance at the site location.
Maintain daily stock records and efficiently manage stock cards.
Handle stock document management and communicate with the Support Office Team, including uploading to One-drive.
Update inventory worksheets daily, compile weekly and monthly reports.
Review daily Audit by User reports to monitor user activities, track transaction deletion frequency, and investigate as necessary.


Required Qualifications


Minimum educational requirement: HND/B.Sc. with at least two years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in accounting theories, principles, methods, practices, and terminology within a multidisciplinary and multi-functional environment.
