Description
As a Hotel waitress /waiter you ensures a high-quality dining experience by welcoming guests, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining cleanliness.
You provide excellent customer service, handle payments, and often recommend menu items, requiring strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service: Greet patrons, present menus, explain specials, and answer questions to ensure a positive dining experience.
Order Management: Take food and beverage orders accurately and input them into the POS system, ensuring special dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen.
Service Delivery: Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen to tables efficiently, following proper etiquette and serving protocols.
Table Maintenance: Clean, clear, and reset tables promptly between services, maintaining sanitation standards.
Payment Handling: Prepare itemized bills, process payments (cash/credit), and handle transactions accurately.
Collaboration: Work effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Appearance: Well-groomed and professional demeanor.
Physical Ability: Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry food trays.
Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
