Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Account Officer to join our finance team and support the company's financial operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation.
Process payroll and statutory remittances as required.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end accounts.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the IT, technology, or related industry.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ATS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
